The BSC Young Boys is organising the "YB Hackathon" together with isolutions AG for the third time. The YB Hackathon is about finding a solution for your challenge in the most innovative way possible. It is obvious that you will integrate topics like IoT, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning or Blockchain. You can, but do not have to use the platforms of our technology partners. The hackathon lasts 24 hours and will take place from October 9 to 10, 2020 at the Valiant Lounge in the Stadium Wankdorf. In an impressive scenery and sporty atmosphere, the participants will face the challenges. What counts are: innovation, personal development and lots of fun!
All essentials are included: Catering, drinks, a chill-out lounge for sleeping or relaxing and high-speed Internet access. In addition, an exciting supporting programme will be provided. More information will follow shortly. Stay curious!
€4,500 in prizes
The winning team will receive a cash prize of CHF 2500, tickets for a home game in the Gstaad Lounge and signed YB jerseys as well as the YB Hackathon Challenge Cup.
The runners-up will receive a cash prize of CHF 1500, tickets for the Valiant Lounge and signed YB scarves.
Third place will be rewarded with a cash prize of CHF 1000 as well as public match tickets and YB bidons.
Submitting to this hackathon could earn you:
Whether you come from a technical or business background; are a student, professional or entrepreneur, everyone is welcome and can apply. At least half of the team should have programming skills. The number of places is limited and we will make a selection from all the applications received. It is therefore important that you state your motivation and passion for technology in a few sentences when you apply.
The entry is free for hackers. Become part of the Hackathon story and apply for a place at the YB Hackathon. Don't worry, it won't take long: we just want to know what your motivation is and what technologies you're nuts about. Please also provide a social media profile (LinkedIn, GitHub, Twitter etc.)
